Yes, we had many places to visit for Halloween and Kylie did enjoy some mini oreos. She was a real trooper getting in and out of the car soooo many times!

Sand, Sun and Fun

We just got back from our first "real" beach trip since Kylie was born. We had a FANTASTIC time with our friends and family! Kylie went on her first boat ride, which she must have loved because she fell asleep on the way out to the sand bar and on the way back to the house. (Pictures soon to come)
She seemed amazed by the ocean at first, but once the chilly morning water hit her toes, it was over. She wasn't too sure of daddy's "catch of the day" either. Slimy looking things aren't they, but yum, yum!

That's My King!

After a fun-filled day of celebrating our independence this 4th of July, I sat down to read my Sunday school lesson. In it, was an article entitled "That's My King". S.M. Lockridge was a pastor for 50 years and was known all over the world for his preaching. Though God can't be described with mere words, Dr. Lockridge came close when he preached the message "That's My King". You can listen to his message at the following address:

SPRING IS HERE!

With the hot weather coming and Kylie walking and moving all about, we are glad that Kylie loves her sippy cup and is doing GREAT with it independently.

Yes, and she still seems to be able to catch good zzzzzz's in this seat on the way home from daycare as well. As in "Goldilocks and The Three Bears", this one is "Just Right"!

Not a Baby Anymore? Time To Turn The Car Seat Around!

We have "officially" reached the 20lbs. AND one year mark to turn the car seat around. Now that we have her in her new "big girl" seat, she looks so little. As you can see, she was growing out of her "infant" seat--feet touching back of car? But boy did we get some great zzzzzz's coming home from daycare in this seat!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!
Kylie had a great time at her first birthday party...not much for cake but hey,we are sure this will come with time! She appreciated all of her friends and family that came to celebrate.

My 1st Easter!

Kylie was "on the hunt" this weekend. She had a great time looking for eggs, but was even more excited about watching other kids hunt eggs. She had fun with her cousins, Bailey & Carter, and her little friends at church.
